Transitalia Marathon 2021

Transitalia Marathon is an international off-road motorcycle tourism adventouring event that allows you to relive the atmosphere of the great rallies of the past combined with the passion for true adventure on two wheels. 

The event is now in its seventh edition and counts 350 participants. The Transitalia Marathon enjoys the support of the Italian and International Motorcycle Federation as well as that of the Motor Valley. One of the main goal of the organizers is to promote tourism in this territory not only for the Italians but also for the many international motorcyclists taking part in the event. 

Program

The event, which will take place from 20 September to 25 September 2021, will by regulation be open to the participation of Maxienduro travel motorbikes over 150 kg road which must strictly comply with the rules of the road. Departures will take place with the formula of 3 motorbikes every 2 minutes to avoid any obstacle to regular circulation as the roads of the entire itinerary are all open to traffic. The preliminary operations and the briefing will take place on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 September 2021 in Rimini (RN).

Regions crossed: Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Abruzzo.

• Monday 20 September 2021 : 2.00 pm opening of preliminary operations at Rimini (RN), Village opening at Piazzale Fellini

• Tuesday 21 September 2021 : 10.00 opening of preliminary operations at Village Rimini (RN), press conferences in the Rimini Turismo press room, verification of participant motorcycles compliance, meeting with institutions, presentation of participants.

• 18:00 participants briefing, presentation of the route

• 19:00 international ceremony opening of the event

• 20:30 dinner

• Wednesday 22 September 2021: 9:00 am departure of participants, staff, medical staff and international press. The stage will see the arrival in Castiglion Fiorentino (AR) from 17:00 to 19:00; presentation of the city to the press and participants, briefing and dinner

• Thursday 23 September 2021: 8:30 am departure from Castiglion Fiorentino (AR) and arrival in the city of Casciana Terme (PI) from 16:00 to 18:00; presentation of the city to the press and participants, briefing and dinner .

• Friday 24 September 2021 : o re 8:00 am departure from Casciana Terme (PI) and arrival in Bolsena (VT) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm; presentation of the city to the press and participants, briefing and dinner

• Saturday 25 September 2021: 8.30 am departure from Bolsena (VT) and arrival in Nocera Umbra (PG) from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm; presentation of the city to the press and participants, dinner, arrival party in the Central Square with concert, participant acknowledgments, greetings from the organization and the International Motorcycling Federation.
