Made in Italy: between heritage and future

Teatro San Carlo, Modena

“The future belongs to those with a great past”, as the advertising spot for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint went.

Fashion made in Italy (the second manufacturing industry in the country) is a strong point of the national economy.
“The history factor”, almost absent in the technological good, is well defined in the artisan one. In a context such as today's characterized by mass production of standardized goods, the history of a brand represents an added value for the company, a competitive advantage that contributes to the creation of the "brand memory" but also an input for the restart.
The most famous example of brand heritage is Made in Italy, an expression that immediately evokes a specific lifestyle and great aesthetic care, capable of arousing sensations in the consumer's mind related to the wealth of different sectors: from design to fashion.
