The Concours d’Élégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme will hold its highly anticipated 21st edition on 3 and 4 July in Salvarola Terme, Sassuolo and Modena.
Conceived with the aim of promoting the artistic, cultural, food and wine, motoring and naturalistic beauties of the Modena area, the Concours consistently offers participants a tourist package that intertwines the world of engines with the other excellences of the area. The event is organized by Terme della Salvarola in collaboration with the Terra delle Rosse, Motor Valley Fest, Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, BPER Banca, ACI Modena, Stanguellini Museum in Modena, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Consortium of Modena, of the Municipalities of Sassuolo and Modena, of Formigine and Maranello, and with the contribution of the Emilia Romagna Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the ICE Agency.
The crew program includes arrival on Friday 2 or Saturday 3 July with an overnight stay at the Hotel Terme Salvarola (4 stars). Saturday 3 July we leave Salvarola Terme to visit the Stanguellini Museum in Modena; to follow the visit of the multimedia Castle of Formigine and its Municipal Acetaia of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and stop for lunch with typical products and in Maranello you can visit the Ferrari Museum. Later you will arrive in Sassuolo, where the cars will be presented in Piazza Garibaldi and you can visit the Este ducal gardens of the '500 (just restored to their splendor) and the Palazzo Ducale. Upon returning to Salvarola Terme, there will be the opportunity to use the thermal pools of the Balnea wellness center, then the day will end with a gala dinner and overnight stay.
On Sunday 4 July in Salvarola Terme there will be the presentation of all the cars, the exhibition and the parade, with the examination of the cars by the prestigious Jury, and the special Philatelic Cancellation dedicated to the Concours will be issued. After lunch the cars, accompanied by the traffic police, will arrive in Modena and in a spectacular parade they will reach Piazza Roma, the living room of the city, where they will be stationed to show themselves to the public in all their beauty and to kick off the awards ceremony, as part of the Motor Valley Fest. The first three winning cars per category will be awarded; the Best of Saturday among the cars that arrived on Saturday; the Best of Zagato - special guest of the 21st edition - and the Best of Show will be proclaimed: the most beautiful among the beautiful ones, which will receive the Salvarola Terme Trophy.
Special prizes made by the artist Alessandro Rasponi in homage to Umberto Panini and Francesco Stanguellini will be awarded to the best restoration and the best preserved.
