Ducati: the electric era begins. From 2023 it will be the new sole supplier of MotoE.

Ducati announces the beginning of its electric era by becoming the sole official motorcycle supplier for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup from the 2023 season. The agreement, signed with Dorna Sports, runs through 2026.

Ducati's tradition of using competitions as an incubator for technologies that in the future will be made available to all motorcyclists continues.

Domenicali: "This is a historic moment for our company"

Lightness is the key element from which the Borgo Panigale-based company wants to start in order to produce the highest-performance electric supersport bikes ever, as CEO Claudio Domenicali declares: "We will work to make available to all participants of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup electric motorcycles that are high-performance and characterized by their lightness. And it is precisely on the weight, a fundamental element of sport bikes, that the greatest challenge will be played out. Lightness has always been in Ducati's DNA and thanks to the rapidly evolving battery technology and chemistry, we are convinced that we can achieve an excellent result."
